- If you've ever wondered what kern pairs are
- included in the screen fonts that take affect when
- an application uses auto-kerning, well, here
- are the pairs included in one of the Adobe fonts.
-
- Study these kern pairs and notice the pairs that
- would most likely never occur in a document.
-
- Many kern pairs that would provide higher
- quality typographic output are missing.
-
- The Macintosh and other computers using
- PostScript fonts could equal or surpass the
- typographic quality output of major front-end
- typesetting systems, provided the kern pair
- tables were improved.
-
- What do you think?
