  1. If you've ever wondered what kern pairs are
  2. included in the screen fonts that take affect when
  3. an application uses auto-kerning, well, here
  4. are the pairs included in one of the Adobe fonts.
  5.  
  6. Study these kern pairs and notice the pairs that
  7. would most likely never occur in a document.
  8.  
  9. Many kern pairs that would provide higher
  10. quality typographic output are missing.
  11.  
  12. The Macintosh and other computers using
  13. PostScript fonts could equal or surpass the 
  14. typographic quality output of major front-end 
  15. typesetting systems, provided the kern pair 
  16. tables were improved.
